On January 3rd, early in the morning, about 27 'Save Utrish' volonteer activists have blocked the way of the machines by their bodies and banners. Consequently the criminal roadworks were stoped for some time. Activists called for the police...

The building machines moved up, to the Gravpromstroy ltd base to continue works at previously deterriorated areas.

3 of the Utrish defenders went there. The Ecological Watch activist named Suren Gazaryan stood at the caterpillar's way. It's driver jumped out of the cabin and attacked the ecologist. The moment was filmed by 'The Moscow Times' reporter Maria Anthonova. Then the driver saw it, he attacked her trying to grab the camera.
After all 3 struggled in snow, the camera with film was preserved. Later on, the machines drove back.

Meanwhile the police came to the location, this time they were so wrong and defended the eco-criminals. The police were trying to scare defenders by punishment for spoiling the works.
But they didn't manage to show any kind of document proving that the works are legal.
The activists wrote 2 petitions about the illegal works and attacks on the nature defenders.

On the 3rd they tried to start the works once again but were stoped one more time.

We're sorry for interruption sir, u r removed.
We have to explain: the situation we face is really terrible and quickly getting worse.
So friending green activists is an appropriate way to speak the word of truth and find some support, and do it quickly.
Pardon for sending it to wrong adress.
